BauerFinancial, Inc. has awarded County Commerce Bank, Ventura County's award winning bank their highest rating, the Five-Star “Superior” rating for the 18th consecutive quarter. County Commerce Bank is the only bank headquartered in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties to earn five stars this quarter. The Five-star “Superior” rating is the highest rating and indicates that the institution in one of the safest in the United States, according to the certificate presented by BauerFinancial, Inc. Joseph D. Kreutz, President and Chief Executive Officer stated “BauerFinancial rates U.S. Banks and federally insured credit unions based on quarterly CALL reports submitted to the FDIC.” Kreutz added, “We are pleased to see that our established approach to banking is serving us well, providing our customers and community a safe, secure institution for their banking needs, even in these challenging times.”
County Commerce Bank was the only bank headquartered in Ventura to receive Premier Performing Bank by Findley Reports in 2008; the fifth straight year for the bank. Other awards include Public Company of the year 2008 by the Pacific Coast Business Times, Western Regional Winner of the Small Business of the Year Award in 2006 by the US Chamber of Commerce and Mid Sized Business of the Year 2006 by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.
