Director / AdministratorJoseph D. Kreutz, who is a life-long Ventura County resident, graduated from Ventura High School and Ventura College. Mr. Kreutz holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University of Sacramento.
In 2003, he led a team of local professionals and business leaders to found County Commerce Bank. Mr. Kreutz, as founding President and Chief Executive Officer of County Commerce Bank and the largest shareholder, has developed County Commerce Bank into one of the strongest and best performing banks in California. Under his leadership, he has strategically grown the Ventura County based independent bank in asset size and expanded from a one branch operation to two branches in 2006. Mr. Kreutz serves on the boards of the Economic Development Corporation of Oxnard (EDCO), Ventura County Economic Development Association (VCEDA), and the Ventura Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of the Ventura High School (VHS) Alumni Foundation. He is actively involved in the community and has served on many boards of local service organizations including the Golden Oaks Invitational Golf Tournament for the Benefit of the Ventura Boys and Girls Club, the Ventura Education Partnership, the Ventura Housing Authority, the Ventura College Foundation, and the Orfalea Financial Literacy Program for youth. He has also coached youth sports for many years including little league, basketball and soccer. He resides in Ventura with Kyle, his wife of 33 years, and their two sons. |
