Martin J. Marietta is a life-long Ventura County resident. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura and earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He joined the accounting firm of Carpenter, Kuhen & Sprayberry in 1983 and was instrumental in establishing its Ventura County office. His efforts were rewarded in 1987 when he was made Partner and then again when the firm changed its name to Sprayberry, Barnes, Marietta & Luttrell in 2000. Mr. Marietta's expertise lies in tax planning and business consulting for high net worth individuals and small to medium sized businesses including construction contractors, light manufacturing companies, professional service enterprises and certain publicly traded companies. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Ventura County Contractors Association. When Sprayberry, Barnes, Marietta & Luttrell became affiliated with Century Business Services, Inc. (CBIZ), Mr. Marietta was made vice-president of CBIZ Southern Californian, Inc. and currently serves on the executive committee. He currently resides in Camarillo with his wife and three children.
